Bay Area Environmental STEM Institute (BAESI) is a year-round professional development program for teachers of grades 4-12, which has served more than 3,000 teachers since 1990.
With funding from the National Science Foundation, NASA, Chevron, Intel and others, the BAESI model is based on 30 years of experience and is informed by research about best practices for effective teacher development through ongoing assessment by an external evaluator. We are proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary this year and we so appeciate the support we have received from educators and other partners over the last three decades.
